Attayampatti is a panchayat town located southwest to the salem city of Salem district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

Almost all the houses make murukku which taste similar and very tasty.
Ettupatti Mariyamman Temple in Attayampatti is very famous in that area. For every year they conduct the festival for that god in "Aadi". There are various garments and mills are available in this area.
Attayampatti Lake is one of the sources for the ground level water supply in this town, and this beautiful lake is the major source for the Attayampatti farmers. It is the unique identity for Attayampatti.
