Audrey Bates
Audrey Glenys Bates was a Welsh international in four sports for Wales: table tennis, tennis squash and lacrosse.Early life
She was educated at Howell's School, Llandaff, and was later the school's games coach.She won a bronze medal in the 1951 World Table Tennis Championships in the Corbillon Cup with Audrey Coombs and Betty Gray for Wales.Squash career
She was an international squash player and competed in the British Open Squash Championships as a seeded player. She played for Wales between 1947 and 1965.Tennis career
