Augusto Tamayo Vargas - Peruvian university teacher and literary critic (1914-1992). He was born on September 6, 1914 in Lima and died on May 6, 1992 in Lima. He graduated from the National University of San Marcos. He was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of the Sun of Peru‎.
