Australian College of Ministries


The Australian College of Ministries, a tertiary Christian educational institution that is a member institution of the Sydney College of Divinity, delivers accredited theological studies at both undergraduate and postgraduate award levels.

Overview

ACOM delivers a mix of online education and face-to-face delivery.
The college integrates academic studies, skill-enhancement competencies and character-formation ACOM's model of training has been noted by a scholar for its commitment to the integration of theory and practice, situated learning and the role of the mentor in student learning.
In its four schools, ACOM houses a faculty with a focus on leadership and teaching. This faculty approximately 480 students across Australia and has offices in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

History of ACOM

The college was formed as the result of the 1999 merger of Kenmore College and the Churches of Christ Theological College. As a company limited by guarantee the college has two members, Fresh Hope and the Christian & Missionary Alliance in Australia.
