Aziz Mohammad Bhai was born in April, 1948 at Armanitola, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His father's name was Mohammad Bhai and mother Khatija Mohammad Bhai. He was worked as a manager of a steel producer for more than three decades and has been an innovator in a local pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with Ambee Pharmaceuticals. He was involved with several films produced under his production company, Ambee Films. Bhai is also a life member of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce.

Controversy
Death of Salman Shah: One of the allegations that had been circulating for a long time on the gossipmedia that Aziz Mohammad Bhai was somehow involved in the killing of film actorSalman Shah who actually committed suicide back in 1996. In 2020 Police Bureau of Investigation finally completed and disclosed their long and intensive investigation regarding the questionable death of actor Salman Shah. PBI presented a good number of evidence concluding that Salman Shah was not murdered rather he committed suicide being locked in his own bedroom of the apartment he lived at Eskaton, Dhaka. Though the actor's mother Neela Chowdhury had long been claiming that her son was murdered; she did file a case of unusual death back in 1996. On the case Aziz Mohammad Bhai's name had not been mentioned but it had been a rumour on the tabloid gossip media that Aziz Mohammad Bhai had some kind of connection to the death of Salman Shah. But, no connection was found so far due to the fact that the businessman was not in Bangladesh at the time of the death of Salman Shah. Furthermore, it has ultimately concluded after the final investigation of PBI that Salman Shah committed suicide due the complications that arose between him and his wife Samira out Salman's alleged extramarital relationship with his co-artist actress Shabnoor. On October 26, 2019 the Department of Narcotics Control seized a good number of expensive vintage liquor bottles from one of the houses of businessman Aziz Mohammad Bhai. It is known that these bottles had been stored there for more than one and half a decade, these were stocked before 2007. Aziz Mohammad Bhai has been living overseas since 1/11 of 2007. Bhai left Bangladesh in 2007 and never returned. Although he was not in the country at that time.
