Azusa Pacific Cougars football
The Azusa Pacific Cougars football program is a college football team that represents Azusa Pacific University, and is a member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference of NCAA Division II for football, which it joined in 2012. Prior to the 2012 season, the Cougars had been an "independent" program in the NAIA. The team has had 9 head coaches since its first recorded football game in 1965. The current coach is Rudy Carlton, a former quarterback for Azusa Pacific and served as their offensive coordinator.
