Bahwartah
Bahvarta or Bahwartah is a village in northern Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria. It is located on the Queiq Plain, between Sawran and Çobanbey , about northeast of the city of Aleppo, and south of the border to the Turkish province of Kilis.
Administratively the village belongs to Nahiya Akhtarin in A'zaz District. Nearby localities include Shuwayrin to the northwest, and Ziadiyah to the southeast. In the 2004 census, Bahwartah had a population of 754. Its inhabitants are mainly of Turkish ethnicity and background.
