Baitutan, Liling


Baitutan is a town in the northern east of Liling City, Hunan, China.
As a division of Liling, it has existed a long history. Baitutan District was created in 1952, Baitutan Commune was created in 1961 from a part of Pukou Commune. Baitutan Commune was renamed to Baitutan Township in 1984, and changed to a town in 1985. Hetian, Boda and Changqing 3 villages of the historic Fuli Town, and Xinghu Village of the historic Nanqiao Town were merged to the town on November 26, 2015.

Administrative divisions

The town is divided into 10 villages and two districts: Baishi District, Jinniu District, Huxia Village, Tianxin Village, Cuanxi Village, Zhutang Village, Huangjia Village, Shuotang Village, Qiaoling Village, Sheqing Village, Shanshui Village, and Quanyuan Village.
