Banavara


Banavara is a Town in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in the Arsikere taluk of Hassan district in Karnataka.
Banavara is a Hobli that has many Villages with Historical importance like Manakathuru which has famous Kalabaireshwara temple and it is located 4km from ಬಾಣಾವರ and one more a village called Mallapura located two km north-easterly to Banavara in Hliyar road that has Krishna yogindra sarasvati paramahamsa Vedike Banavara and Sri Narayana Yogindra Saraswati Paramahamsa Adhistana and the other village is Chaluvanahalli located three km south-easterly to Banavara off Arsikere road. Chaluvanahalli Village has a Place called Gavimata located on a hillock. Gavimata has Caves to watch, a temple and a Kalyani.
The National Highways NH 206 and NH 234 passe through this Banavara.
