Beatrice Michiel
Beatrice Michiel was a spy in the Ottoman court in service of Venice. She was the sister of a eunuch of the Ottoman sultan, and joined him there as an adult.
Reportedly, she attempted to influence Safiye Sultan to a policy in favour of the Republic of Venice, and by doing so came in conflict with Esperanza Malchi, who had the opposite intention: the two women once came in to open conflict in front of Safiye.
