Corgnet joined his first professional side, Dijon in 2010 after a stint with amateur club Monts d'Or Azergues in the Championnat de France amateur 2, the fifth division of French football.
Corgnet joined Lorient from Dijon on 4 September 2012 in a €6 million deal.
In July 2013, he joined AS Saint-Étienne in Ligue 1.
