Benjamin Kofi Ayeh


Benjamin Kofi Ayeh was a member of the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He represented the Upper Denkyira West in the Central region of Ghana.

Personal life

Ayeh is married. He identifies as a Christian and fellowships at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Early life and education

Ayeh was born on 16 November 1962 in Ayanfuri in the Central region. He obtained an EMGL from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in 2008. He is also a qualified chartered accountant.

Politics

Ayeh is a member of the New Patriotic Party. In 2004, he contested in the general elections under the ticket of the New Patriotic Party and won. He garnered 14,111 votes which represents 52.66% of the total votes cast defeating the other contestants including Yankey Mansfield Ackah, Daniel Ohene Darko and Bernard Asamoah. He contested in the 2012 Ghanaian Elections and was re-elected to serve his second term as the member of parliament for Upper Denkyira West.

Employment

Ayeh is an accountant/businessman.
He was the CEO of Fambenycold Limited in Accra.
He is a Member of Parliament.
