Bert van de Kamp


Bert van de Kamp was a Dutch music journalist, known for his interviews with pop stars in the Dutch Muziekkrant OOR.

Career

Van de Kamp was born in Rotterdam. In 1972 he won the Wordt Popjournalist en Vlieg naar Londen!, resulting in his first story: an interview with John Entwistle of The Who.
From 1973 to 1977 he was writer of Muziekkrant OOR. He wrote about many music styles; of hardrock to singer-songwriters. He wrote about big music names and less known music artists and groups
From 1977 to 1980 he was correspondent in London for Muziekkrant OOR and the KRO radio and television magazine Studio.
In 1995 he won the first.
Bert van de Kamp died in Utrecht, aged 73.
