The fourth season of Beverly Hills, 90210, an American teen drama television series, began airing on September 8, 1993 on Fox television network. The season concluded on May 25, 1994 after 32 episodes. This season follows the gang during their freshman year of college as they deal with issues that young adults face such as sex, teen pregnancy, date rape, drug abuse, animal rights, politics, relationships, antisemitism, marriage, infidelity, crime, abortion, and homophobia.
The fourth season aired Wednesday nights at 8/9c in the United States averaging 21.1 million viewers a week. The season was released on DVD as an eight disc boxed set under the title of Beverly Hills, 90210: The Fourth Season on April 29, 2008 by CBS DVD.
This season marks Shannen Doherty's final season as Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210 but Doherty returned as Brenda on the updated Beverly Hills, 90210 spin off, 90210. This is also the first appearance of Kathleen Robertson as Clare Arnold and Mark Damon Espinoza as Jesse Vasquez.

Overview

The fourth season follows the gang during their freshman year of college at California University. The year promises to be an exciting one with no parents, no rules, unexpected relationships and big surprises, but it also brings new problems that will only be solved with their friendships to help guide them through.
