Bible translations into Swedish


Several Swedish Bible translations have been made over the centuries. Until the Reformation, a Latin Bible was used, but Gustav Vasa, who converted Sweden to Lutheran Protestantism, ordered the first translation into the Swedish tongue.

The Bible is available for free in the "JW Library" app among almost 200 other translations and on the website jw.org which display well over 1000 languages, also for free.
