Big Lake Youth Camp
Big Lake Youth Camp is an ACA-accredited resident camp located at the summit of the Santiam Pass, 22 miles out of Sisters, Oregon in the Willamette National Forest. It is owned and operated by the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It sits between Mount Washington and the 250 acre lake it is named after. It was chartered in 1962.
The camp offers programs for families and children ages 7-17.
Facilities include 22 camper cabins, 8 staff houses, lodge and dining hall, office, videography and editing building, camp store, clinic and two campfire bowls. Recreation facilities on land include playing fields, basketball and volleyball courts, BMX track, hiking trails and horseshoes. Facilities for horseback riding include a riding arena, trails, barn and stables. Lake based recreation includes swimming, sailing, windsurfing, canoes, waterskiing and jet skis.
Big Lake Youth Camp is operated on public land under a permit granted by the USDA Forest Service.
