Bill Robinson (Australian politician)
William Charles Campbell Bignall Robinson was an English-born Australian politician. Born in Hertfordshire, he migrated to Australia as a child and was educated at state schools in Western Australia. He became a farmer in the Williams District. He served in the military 1942–1945. In 1952, he was appointed to the Australian Senate as a Country Party Senator for Western Australia, filling the casual vacancy caused by the death of Senator Edmund Piesse. He contested the 1953 election but was defeated. Robinson died in 1981.
