Binibining Pilipinas 2017
Binibining Pilipinas 2017, was the 54th edition of Binibining Pilipinas, that took place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines on April 30, 2017. Miss Universe 2016 Top 6 Finalist Maxine Medina crowned her successor Rachel Peters as Miss Universe Philippines 2017 at the end of the event while Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa crowned Maria Angelica "Mariel" Andolong de Leon as Binibining Pilipinas-International. The pageant also awarded four other titles to participate in minor international beauty pageants in which Miss Intercontinental 2016 Top 15 Jennifer Hammond crowned Katarina Sonja Artigas Rodriguez as Binibining Pilipinas-Intercontinental, Miss Supranational 2016 Top 25 Joanna Louise Eden crowned Chanel Olive Villamayor Thomas as Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational, Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner-up Nicole Cordoves crowned Elizabeth Dorado Clenci as Binibining Pilipinas-Grand International and The Miss Globe 2016 3rd Runner-up Nichole Marie Manalo crowned Nelda Cunan Ibe as Binibining Pilipinas-Globe. Named as first and second runners-up, respectively were Charmaine Francisco Elima, 24, a flight attendant from Rizal; and Kristel Nones Guelos, 24, a dentist from Tanauan City.
This pageant marks a number of firsts in its 54-year history: the number of semifinalists was narrowed to 25 and the winner of the fan votes via text will receive the People's Choice Award that will make her the last to be called in the Top 15.

- Rachel Peters, Miss Universe Philippines, placed in the Top 10 at Miss Universe 2017 held on November 26 at the AXIS Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
- Maria Angelica De Leon, Binibining Pilipinas International, competed in Miss International 2017 held on November 14 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan where she was unplaced.
- Chanel Thomas, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, placed in the Top 10 and won a special award of Miss Friendship at Miss Supranational 2017 during the finals held on December 1, 2017 at Krynica Zdro, Poland.
- Katarina Rodriguez, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, was later hailed as 1st runner-up and won two special awards: Miss Media Popularity and Miss Asia and Oceania at Miss Intercontinental 2017 during the finals held in Egypt last January 26, 2018. She then joined Miss World Philippines in 2018 where she was crowned Miss World Philippines 2018 and competed Miss World 2018 in China on December 8 where she was unplaced.
- Elizabeth Clenci, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, was hailed as 2nd runner-up at Miss Grand International 2017 during the finals held on October 25 at Phú Quốc, Vietnam.
- Nelda Ibe, Binibining Pilipinas Globe, was later hailed as 1st runner-up at Miss Globe 2017 during the finals held in Albania last November 3, 2017.
- Christagale Borja, was appointed as Top Model of the World Philippines 2017 by Rodgil Flores and was hailed as Top 6 at Top Model of the World 2017 during the finals held in Red Sea, Egypt in July 2017.
- Sammie Anne Legaspi, later joined Miss Lumiere International Philippines 2017 where she was crowned the winner. She represented the Philippines, placed 1st runner-up at the Miss Lumiere International 2017 during the finals held on November 4, 2017 at Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
- Jehza Mae Huelar joined Binibining Pilipinas for the third straight year in 2018 where she was crowned Bb. Pilipinas - Supranational 2018, placing in the top 10 at Miss Supranational 2018 in Poland on December 7.
- 1 On February 28, 2017, Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. formally released the 40 official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2017 Pageant. The 40 were selected from a field of 96 entrants which were narrowed to 55 then the final 40.
- 2 On March 22, 2017, Mae Lanie Chan of Isabela was disqualified as an official contestant by the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. for violation of policy with regards to modeling contract conflict.
- 3 On March 22, 2017, the 39 Bb. Pilipinas 2017 official candidates were presented to the press at Novotel Manila Araneta Center wearing swimsuits provided by the organizers.
- 4 On March 27, 2017, Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. formally announced Gillian Eliza Colcol of Antipolo City as the official replacement of Miss Chan and will now be Bb. #36.
- 5 On April 8, 2017, Bb. Pilipinas Talent Competition was held at the Activity Area of Ali Mall in Quezon City where thirteen Binibinis performed their special talents to be considered as the recipient of Miss Talent to be announced during the finals on April 30.
- 6 On April 22, 2017, Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Grand Parade of Beauties was held, with 40 candidates each riding a convertible, navigating the streets surrounding the Araneta Center and ending at the Gateway Mall Pavilion.
- 7 On April 24, 2017, Binibining Pilipinas 2017 National Costume Competition was held at the Penthouse of Gateway Tower. The top 10 were named and the winner will be announced during the Coronation Night on April 30.
