Birdmen (manga)


Birdmen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from July 2013 to February 2020.

Publication

Birdmen is written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe. Tanabe is known for her other manga series Kekkaishi. In December 2012, she announced that her new work would be released next spring. The series started in the 2013 issue #33 of Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday published on July 17, 2013. The series went on hiatus from August to November of the same year. After resuming its publication, the manga was released on a monthly basis in the magazine. In December 2019, it was announced that the manga would end in the 2020 issue #10 of Weekly Shōnen Sunday on February 5, 2020. Shogakukan has compiled its individual chapters into fifteen tankōbon volumes as of August 2019.
The manga has been licensed in Indonesia by Elex Media Komputindo.
