the J.D. Crawford
Prize

Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics

outstanding
research
in
nonlinear science

Sandstede was awarded the Jack K. Hale
Award
for his contributions to
partial differential equations
and the study of
spiral
waves in
reaction diffusion
systems
.
