Blue Effect (band)


Blue Effect was a Czech progressive rock band, also operating under the names M. Efekt, Modrý efekt, or The Special Blue Effect, since their formation in 1968. The lineup included Radim Hladík, formerly of The Matadors. The band changed their musical style several times, ranging from rhythm and blues, jazz fusion, to art rock.
The band's latest lineup was:

Jan Křížek - vocals, guitar

Václav Zima - drums

Vojtěch Říha - bass guitar, vocals
Radim Hladík died on 4 December 2016, aged 69, from pulmonary fibrosis.
