Bob Frith


Robert Montague Frith, is a male former athlete who competed for England.

Athletics career

Frith was selected by England to represent his country in athletics events and won a silver medal in the 1968 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Madrid.
He held the world record for 50 metres and was four times National AAA champion over 60 metres.
He represented England in the 100 yards, at the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston, Jamaica.
He was a member of the Kingston Athletics Club and Polytechnic Harriers.
