Boliqueime


Boliqueime is a Portuguese freguesia, located in the municipality of Loulé, in the region of the Algarve. The population in 2011 was 4,973, in an area of 46.21 km². It has an altitude of 43 m.
Aníbal Cavaco Silva, who was elected president of Portugal in 2006, was born in this village in 1939.
Located in central Algarve, 20 km from Faro airport it is a well preserved small village 5 minutes away from the inland typical village of Loulé and the coast towns of Vilamoura and Albufeira
