Bommasandra is a suburb of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka, India. It is one of the industrial areas in Anekal taluk, with others being Attibele, Chandapura, Electronic City, Jigani and Sarjapura.

All the buses to Attibele and Hosur pass through Bommasandra and almost every bus stops here since it is an industrial area.
Major industries located in this area are Continental Automotive Components Pvt. Limited Continental AG, Biocon, Titan Industries Limited's - Precision Engineering Division, Shetron & SKF India, Wirtz Manufacturing Ltd, etc.
The Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital and the Jigani Industrial Area are very near from Bommasandra. Electronic city, which is Bangalore's major IT hub, is located just 2 km from Bommasandra. Bommasandra - Jigani Link road has witnessed a major real estate development in recent years. Many residential layouts and apartments and residential projects like TCH-Garden Residency have come up in this area. Bommasandra was also called as "Kelaginahalli" in Kannada and "Diguvapalli" in Telugu later renamed as Bommasandra. Most of the residents are bilingual and are fluent in Kannada and Telugu.
Vidhya nagar is also part of Bommasandra, it is known for a temple of lord Ganesh.
