Bone Mizell


Morgan Bonaparte “Bone” Mizell was a famous cattle herder in Florida. He is one of the well known early Florida men knowm as Florida crackers. Mizell became "a legend" for his mischievous antics and was known as a fun loving and hard drinking entertainer. He had an impressive physical appearance, standing six feet tall with a "protruding chin" and "hawk-like nose". Frederic Remington painted him.
