The final was held on 1 March 2003 at the Skenderija Hall in Sarajevo, hosted by Ana Vilenica, Enis Bešlagić and Ognjen Blagojević. The winner was due to be selected over two rounds of public televoting, however the public televote failed due to the very large number of votes being cast. Instead, the winner was determined by an eight-member jury, which included former Bosnian Eurovision representatives Alma Čardžić, Maja Tatić and Sabahudin Kurt, over two rounds. In the first round, the top four entries were selected to proceed to the second round. In the second round, Mija Martina with "Ne Brini" was determined as the winner.
