Brandon Edwards


Brandon Edwards is an American professional basketball player who last played for Elitzur Yavne of the Israeli National League. He played college basketball for the University of Texas at Arlington before playing professionally in Spain, Greece and Israel.

High school career

Edwards played high school basketball at South Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas.

College career

After high school, Edwards played college basketball at University of Texas at Arlington, with the Texas–Arlington Mavericks, from 2010 to 2014.

Professional career

Edwards began his pro career in the 2014–15 season in Spain, with the LEB Oro club Breogán. He remained at Spain for the 2015–16 season, to play with Club Melilla. With the club, he won the promotion at the Liga ACB, but Melilla refused to promote to the ACB.
On June 28, 2016, Edwards moved to Greece and signed a 2-year deal with Rethymno Cretan Kings.
On August 4, 2017, Edwards signed a one-year deal with the Israeli team Hapoel Galil Elyon of the Israeli National League.
On July 27, 2018, Edwards signed with Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim for the 2018–19 season. In 13 games played for Ramat Gan, Edwards averaged 15.3 points, 12.1 rebounds and 1.6 block per game, shooting 58.1 percent from the field. On January 9, 2019, Edwards parted ways with Ramat Gan.
On January 11, 2019, Edwards signed with Elitzur Yavne for the rest of the season, replacing Dallis Joyner.
