of the original
breakwater
at Douglas, also used for the
loading and unloading
of
vessels
.
A later
crane
was built by
Cowans, Sheldon
of
Carlisle
. The crane was
owned
by the
Isle of Man
Harbour
Board
and ran on
gauge
.
