Brieštie
Brieštie is a village and municipality in Turčianske Teplice District in the Žilina Region of northern central Slovakia. A former german village of Hadviga is now part of the village.History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1392. The village belonged to a German language island. The German population was expelled in 1945 from the village of Hadviga which became a part of Brieštie in 1958.Geography
