Of the 553 households 42.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.3% were married couplesliving together, 9.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.2% were non-families. 19.2% of households were one person and 6.7% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.07. The age distribution was 28.9% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 33.1% from 25 to 44, 21.8% from 45 to 64, and 7.5% 65 or older. The median agewas 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 99.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.5 males. The median household income was $40,104 and the median family income was $46,071. Males had a median income of $38,929 versus $23,571 for females. The per capita income for the town was $18,670. About 6.2% of families and 8.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 10.1% of those under age 18 and 5.4% of those age 65 or over.

The racial makeup of the town was 92.2% White, 5.3% Black or African American, 0.7% Native American, 0.1% Asian, 0.4% from other races, and 1.4% from two or more races. 2.0% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. Of the 659 households 38.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% were married couples living together, 12.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.7% were non-families. 17.8% of households were one person and 5.2% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.77 and the average family size was 3.11. The age distribution was 27.3% under the age of 18, 9.9% from 18 to 24, 33.1% from 25 to 44, 22.6% from 45 to 64, and 7.1% 65 or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females, there were 93.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.1 males. The median household income was $55,357 and the median family income was $66,944. Males had a median income of $44,837 versus $31,118 for females. The per capita income for the town was $19,352. About 7.2% of families and 10.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.1% of those under age 18 and 5.2% of those age 65 or over.
