Brunei Premier League


DST Group Brunei Premier League was the top-tier football league of Brunei until it was replaced by the Brunei Super League in 2012. It is currently the second tier in Brunei football, with two promotion places up for grabs.
The champion receives B$7,000 as prize money, a trophy and gold medal. Best player gets B$400. Fair play award gets B$500. Top goal scorer gets B$300.
Second place receives B$5,000, trophy and silver medal.
Third Place receives B$3,000, trophy and bronze medal.

History

From 1985 to 1993, the champions of the four districts entered into the National Championship playoff. The tournament was not played between 1994 and 2001. The Brunei Premier League was created in 2002, and it was the top-tier league until 2012, when it was replaced by the Brunei Super League.
Since 2014 it exists as a second tier competition.
