Bukit Batu Lebah Recreational Forest


The Bukit Batu Lebah Recreational Forest is a forest reserve in Selandar, Jasin District, Melaka, Malaysia. Bukit Batu Lebah offers, among others, hiking and caving/cave exploration activities. Currently, Bukit Batu Lebah is the only venue in Malacca that offers caving activities.
There are 15 caves that have been identified as having high potential to be open for exploration to the public. But, the authority has taken a prudent approach as to ensure preservation and to avoid overexploitation of this natural beauty by opening them up in stages. As at today, only 3 of these caves is open to exploration by visitors.
First Trail takes 4 hours expedition and it has very beautiful natural landscapes
Second Trail takes 6 hours expedition and has a crystal cave, "Avatar" trees and hike to the highest hill in Malacca
Third Trail is the Rock Water cave expedition and it will be opened to visitors soon.
Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth trails also will open soon.
This area also stores the historical areas and natural heritage. Also in this place is one of 5 summits of the Bukit Senggeh Forest Reserve.
This place is interesting for recreational activities, wildlife conservation, historical site and has its own myth.

The recreational forest features facilities such as parking lot, toilets, chalet, jogging track, prayer room, etc.

The recreational forest opens every day and one must inform a guide for safety.
