History

Mount French Provisional School opened on 26 September 1887. In 1901 it was renamed Coochin Lower Provisional School. On 1 January 1909 it became Coochin Lower State School. On 29 April 1926 it was renamed Bunjurgen State School. It closed on 11 April 1968..
