Cédric Charlier


Cédric Daniel André Charlier is a Belgian field hockey player who plays as a forward for Dragons and the Belgian national team.

Club career

Charlier started playing hockey at Uclle and played there until he was 19 years old, when he went to Racing Bruxelles. In July 2019, he made a transfer to Dragons.

International career

At the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men's tournament. At the 2016 Olympics, he was part of the Belgian men's team that won the silver medal. Charlier also won silver with Belgium at the 2013 EuroHockey Championship on home ground in Boom and at the 2017 EuroHockey Championships in Amstelveen. In 2019, he finally won a gold medal at the European championships.
