Calw Hermann Hesse Prize


The Calw Hermann Hesse Prize is a literary prize awarded since 1990 in turns every second year alternately to a German-language literary periodical or a translator of the works of Hermann Hesse. The prize is awarded by the in Calw, Germany, where Hermann Hesse grew up.
The prize should neither be confused with the Hermann-Hesse-Literaturpreis nor with the prize of the Internationale Hermann-Hesse-Gesellschaft, which was awarded for the first time in 2017 to Adolf Muschg.
