As of the census of 2000, there were 228 people, 94 households, and 72 families residing in the town. The population density was 50.9/km2. There were 100 housing units at an average density of 22.3/km2. The racial makeup of the town was 96.93% White, 2.63% Black or African American and 0.44% Native American.
There were 94 households, out of which 25.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.6% were married couples living together, 6.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.4% were non-families. 23.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
