Canadian Centre for Cyber Security
The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security is a unit under the Communications Security Establishment agency of Canada, that is responsible for monitoring threats and coordinating the national response to any cyber security incident. Its focus is the protection of national critical infrastructure against cyber incidents. The unit was officially created on October 1, 2018 and absorbed the various previous Government of Canada agencies and units responsible for these functions, including the Canadian Cyber Incident Response Centre, the Security Operations Centre of Shared Services Canada, and the Information Technology Security branch of CSE.
