Canadian Intercollegiate Sailing Association

The Canadian Intercollegiate Sailing Association is the governing authority for sailing competition at colleges and universities in Canada.

History

CICSA was founded on October 16, 2010 by Landon Gardner to promote sailboat racing among Canadian Universities, as more sailors at Canadian universities wanted to create competitive sailing teams, but could not afford to travel to events held by the existing organization, the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association, at the two conferences where Canadian teams competed, the MAISA and the NEISA.
