Canterbury Magicians
The Canterbury Magicians are a New Zealand women's cricket team that plays domestic cricket in the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield one-day competition and the Burger King Super Smash Twenty20 competition. Historically they have been strong, with runs of 9 and 11 consecutive New Zealand titles through the 80s and 90s. They competed in women's competitions since before the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield.
In the 2016–17 season the Magicians won the one-day trophy over the Auckland Hearts after losing the Twenty20 final to the Otago Sparks.
