Carr Township, Jackson County, Indiana


Carr Township is one of twelve townships in Jackson County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,510 and it contained 645 housing units.
Carr Township was named for Thomas Carr, an early county commissioner.

History

and Medora Covered Bridge are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which is land and is water. The streams of Dry Creek and Greasy Creek run through this township.
