Carthage High School (Texas)


Carthage High School is a public high school located in the city of Carthage, Texas. It is part of the Carthage Independent School District located in central Panola County and classified as a 4A school by the UIL. In 2013, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

The school has a leased cable channel that they broadcast programming from CISD on. Broadcasting is managed by the department's director Joanna Huckabee and produced by students including Cheston Malone, Kell Whitlock and Dylan Bullock. Programs include "CHS 360" and "The Carthage Connection".
