Cebu Technological University


Cebu Technological University is a level-4, level-5 state university located in Cebu, Philippines. By virtue of Republic Act 9744, Cebu State College of Science and Technology was converted to Cebu Technological University during the previous administration of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Recently certified by TUV Rheinland, the university copes with the ISO 9001:2015 standard to be on a par with top-performing educational institutions.Its strong adherence to quality assurance mechanism has allowed the university to fulfill its fourfold function---instruction, research, extension and production.
With a population of over 40,000 students in 23 campuses from across the province, it becomes a major avenue for learning, resulting in more opportunities to improve the country's economy. Some freshmen are drawn to the university's diverse degree programs for Academic Year 2020-2021. They come from Cebu province's key cities and municipalities that abide by the government's mandate on easy access to education in that they have given stakeholders the avenue by which they could develop their potentials.
Supportive of such a noble determination is CTU President Rosein A. Jr., who is serving his second term of office effective March 2019 through March 2023 as per CHED declaration. Keeping appearances in international is one of Dr. Ancheta's strategies when it comes to providing CTU a dialogic stance with world leaders in going about its daily pursuit for excellence.

Strategically positioned are its 23 campuses from north to south of Cebu Province. From the lush to the bustling metropolis, many have been inspired to earn a degree in college. Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. has worked out MOAs day in and day out to encourage LGUs in the direction of providing knowledge, skills and abilities to aspiring professionals. To date, the addition of one satellite campus in Babag and a couple of extension campuses has him recognized as CTU's most dynamic leader thus far.
