Cedar Lake (St. Croix County, Wisconsin)


Cedar Lake is a lake located in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, 3.5 miles east of Star Prairie. Cedar Lake is best known for its Muskellunge fishing. It is a small lake with a lot of structure. The lake is 1107 acres in area and has a maximum depth of 40 feet. Fish commonly found in this lake include Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, Panfish, and small mouth bass.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources stocks cedar lake with walleye and muskie.
Cedar Lake is the birthplace of the renowned rail engineer Paul Smith.
