There were 251 households of which 30.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.8% were married couplesliving together, 10.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.8% had a male householder with no wife present, and 42.6% were non-families. 37.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.27 and the average family size was 2.98. The median age in the city was 43.9 years. 25.4% of residents were under the age of 18; 7.3% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 18.1% were from 25 to 44; 27.2% were from 45 to 64; and 22.1% were 65 years of age or older. The racial makeup of the city was 92.67% White, 0.41% African American, 4.15% Native American, 1.11% from other races, and 1.66% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.07% of the population. There were 285 households out of which 29.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.9% were married couples living together, 8.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.1% were non-families. 33.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 22.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 2.91. In the city, the population was spread out with 24.6% under the age of 18, 4.6% from 18 to 24, 18.3% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 29.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 47 years. For every 100 females, there were 92.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.7 males. The median income for a household in the city was $27,031, and the median income for a family was $33,889. Males had a median income of $24,167 versus $19,688 for females.
