Central District (Mahabad County)


The Central District of Mahabad County is a district in Mahabad County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 179,697, in 39,752 families. The District has one city: Mahabad. The District has three rural districts : Akhtachi-ye Gharbi Rural District, Mokriyan-e Gharbi Rural District and Mokriyan-e Sharqi Rural District.
