Chahar Burjak District


Chahar Burjak District is a district of Nimruz Province in Afghanistan. At just under in area, it is the largest district in Afghanistan. The population of Chahar Burjak was about 8,080 as of 2004, consisting of Baloch, Pashtuns and Tajiks.
Before the coming of the Russians to Afghanistan, Char Burjak was ruled by the Sanjranis and it was called Sanjranis state. Sardar Sanjrani Qilla is still there in Char Burjak.
