Today, the Orchard campus is part of the growing Chatsworth Group of Schools, which also includes an international primary school located on the East of Singapore catering to students from K through Year 6, as well as two Kindergartens running the local, Ministry of Education, curriculum.

Curriculum

Students from K1 to Year 6 follow the IB Primary Years Programme, where they are engaged actively in their learning whilst being encouraged to think more deeply and take action in their personal lives. Students from Year 7 to 11 follow the IB Middle Years Programme. The programme emphasises intellectual challenge, encouraging students to make connections between their studies in traditional subjects and the real world. Year 12 and 13 students take the IB Diploma Programme, which is designed to prepare them for further education at the tertiary level.

Beyond the classroom

Sports is an integral part of the Chatsworth curriculum. The school is an active member of the Athletics Conferences of Singapore International Schools, where students aged 8 to 19 years old from Singapore’s international schools compete. Students at Chatsworth can choose from sports including badminton, basketball, cross country, football, netball, touch rugby, swimming and ultimate frisbee.
Co-curricular activities are offered for students from Year 1 before and after school. In addition to sports, these include arts, leadership, clubs and special interests. Chatsworth also participates in regional events involving the Arts such as the International Schools Theatre Association events.
