Chernobyl Way
Chernobyl Way is an annual rally run on April 26 by the opposition in Belarus as a remembrance of the Chernobyl disaster.
The first time it was run in 1989 with demands of urgent efforts in eliminating the consequences of the catastrophe.
On the 10th anniversary of the catastrophe the rally was held the first time during Lukashenko's presidency. The rally was dispersed by OMON and its activists were arrested.
