Chicken Shack (Michigan)
Chicken Shack is an American restaurant chain. The first one was opened in Royal Oak, Michigan by John and Iola Sobeck in 1956. It did so well, that a second Royal Oak location opened up a couple of years later.
Today, it has twenty-one locations in the greater Detroit area. The Sobeck family is planning on expanding outside of Southeast Michigan, and eventually into Ohio.
