Chremslach
Chremslach, also chremzlekh, is a Jewish food eaten on Passover. Chremslach are small thick pancakes or fritters made of matza meal.
Chremslach is also the word used by Jews from Eastern Europe for potato chrmslach, similar to Potato Latkes.
Similar dishes, or even the same, have different names. Balkan Jews call their version bimuelos.
